Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.
As a parish community, we want to share your joy in the birth of your child. Faith is a precious gift that you offer your child by bringing him or her to the baptismal font of new life. e schedule the Rite of Baptism one Sunday a month after the 10:15 Mass.
Families who reside in Immaculate Conception Parish, or who are registered may contact the parish office to begin the process.
The following must be completed before a date is scheduled.
Parents make initial contact with the parish office.
Godparents must submit a sponsor certificate signed by their own pastor with the parish seal stamped on the document. (Print the sponsor certificate at the documents link to the left and follow the instructions.)
Parents and godparents attend a baptism preparation program. We recommend that families attend the preparation program prior to the birth of the child.
